Thinking of going vegan or living a more plant-based lifestyle?
At the start of my personal plant-based journey, I had many questions that started with “why?” In the beginning, I was focused mostly on the following…
• Why should I consider going vegan?
• Why will eating plant-based be healthier for me?
• Why does veganism help the planet?
• Why do animal lovers eat animals?
• Why are people able to disconnect themselves from what they eat?
Having informative and inspiring books really helped answer these questions and many, many more. Not only does it fill in the blanks about why being vegan can save you, the animals and the world, it helps you answer all your friends’ questions when they see your plant-based plate in a restaurant. Start collecting and reading some of these great books and you’ll always have the information to navigate this fast-changing world of veganism.
The answers to “how” will be covered by a blog with my favorite cookbooks—-but hopefully our website, Vegan American Princess, helps you with “how” to be vegan every day!
These are my current faves—-in no specific order, each book is oriented toward information and ideas, not focused on recipes and cooking. My favorite cookbooks will be in another post.
